Jn 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Jn 3:18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.
One night Nicodemus, a Pharisee and a member of the Jewish ruling council came to Jesus. The Lord said to him, “I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again.’” He did not understand how a man can be born again when he is old. Jesus explained to him in detail how a man is born of the Spirit. Jesus said, “I tell you the truth” three times and these show the importance of His statements that a man really should be born again. It involves man’s salvation and deliverance from condemnation. How then man can be born again? How can these things be?

Jesus said, “Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Being born again is a must for all human beings to enter heaven. No one has entered heaven without being born again. Why? Because flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God nor does the perishable inherit imperishable. We are of the flesh and the sinful nature has corrupted us and we are spiritually condemned that is why we abide in death. Only God can save us. Jesus said, “The flesh gives birth to the flesh and the Spirit gives birth to the spirit. Therefore it is a spiritual birth and work of the Spirit. Nicodemus asked, “How can these things be?” Jesus continued His discussion with Nicodemus and in detail showed him how God worked for our salvation. God gave the Son of God to die so that the world might have eternal life and be saved through Him. Whoever believes in Him shall not be condemned but have eternal life and whoever disbelieves is condemned already because they believe not the Son of God. Therefore to enter the Kingdom of God, to be saved, to have eternal life and to be born again is through the Son of God by faith in Him. To be born again is to receive the Son of God. He that believes in Him through the gospel shall be given new birth by the Spirit of God. Faith in Christ who died on the cross for our redemption justifies us and God transfers us into His kingdom. He who works evil hates the Light and does not come to the Light but he who does what is right comes to the Light and God enables him.
